Sustainable development program

In july we support WWF for the oceans protection

In july, Le Saint-Sulpice Hôtel Montréal supports WWF-Canada!

With our sustainable and social development program set up in June, in favor of the Montreal SPCA, we are continuing our actions this time for the WWFWorld Wildlife Fund.

A simple principle: each refusal of housekeeping by our guest during his stay with us, allows us to collect $5 in favor of the monthly organization.

For the Montreal SPCA, we managed to collect: $$$$

We hope of course each month to be able to exceed the previous collection!

We will therefore encourage you if you stay more than one night at the Saint-Sulpice Hotel Montreal, to refuse your room cleaning service.

Les missions du WWF

The conservation challenges we face are not small. But, for the past 50 years, countless caring Canadians have helped us protect wild places and the species that live in them. Together, we will continue our work toward a future in which both humans and nature can thrive for generations to come.

World Wildlife Fund Canada is the country’s largest international conservation organization. Guided by the best scientific analysis and Indigenous knowledge, we work to conserve species at risk, protect threatened habitats, and address climate change. Our long-term vision is simple: to create a world where nature and people thrive.

This organization was selected by our technical director Aldo Senbati, very aware of the protection of the oceans and who explains why:

‘The oceans have long been considered an inexhaustible source where everything can be taken and also where everything can be thrown. The proof is made that the oceans are showing signs of fatigue due to overexploitation and also to climate change. If the oceans can no longer absorb gases such as CO2, the resources will quickly disappear and therefore a billion people in the world will no longer have enough to eat. Fortunately, in our time it is still possible to take action to save hundreds of marine species and make this stretch of water clean as it once was.’

We count on you and your support, we thank you in advance!
